Sourcing suitable vessels for Offshore Renewables/Wind farms is the core business for Force3 Offshore. Since our startup in 2009 we have been involved in close to 100 fixtures to various wind farms in Europe.

During that time we have also become aware of the significant supply chain issues that face the industry between now and 2020 and now have a researcher dedicated to investigating new and forthcoming designs of Turbine Installation Vessels/Turbine Transfer Vessels etc

Our close relationships with both owners and charterers gives us the opportunity to try to assess and collate future requirements and demand, as turbines become larger and move into deeper water (Round 3), and what vessels may be available to meet those challenges.

To take this further, we have launched a new offshore vessel chartering service, known as "Zephyr" which is hosted by our Windfarm market intelligence partners 4Coffshore Ltd.

The service aims to give charterer's a new and hopefully more efficient approach to locating suitable vessels that are able to meet the demands of the offshore windfarm market. In addition "Zephyr" is developing tools for assessing future supply/demand requirements to allow both vessel owners and charterer's to assess future needs or "choke points" in the supply chain.
